    ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Difficult as it was for Frank Reich to open the week being reminded of how Indianapolis fell short in its most recent trip to Buffalo, the Colts coach also found reason for optimism. “I’m not going to lie.     Mr. Sports Travel visits Harrisonburg

    HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Joe Connor from San Diego has found a way to combine his passion for sports and travel while raising awareness for a Culpeper-based charity called Operation First Response, which supports veterans. Connor, also known as Mr. Sports Travel, has spent 25 years traveling to sporting events and since Sept. 2, he has been going to a different game every day in his American flag-covered car.     Cavaliers travel to Catawba seeking back-to-back SAC wins | Sports

    Catawba secured its first winning season since 2017 last week with a 31-28 South Atlantic Conference win over Tusculum. On Saturday, Virginia-Wise goes to Catawba looking to take another step toward its first winning football season since 2016. The SAC game is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Shuford Stadium in Salisbury, North Carolina. UVA Wise (4-5, 3-4) can move above .500 with a win Saturday followed by a victory over Barton at home in its regular- season finale on Nov. 13. The Cavaliers ended a three-game losing streak last weekend with a 28-24 SAC win over Limestone. OPPORTUNITY

    Sports, Team Selection, Vaccine, Travel, More

    [Written by Don Burgess] Team selection in the age of vaccine mandates is causing sports organizations to jump through extra hoops. Some like the Bermuda Olympic Association and the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association are going forward with a policy that only vaccinated athletes will be considered for selection. Others, such as the Bermuda Football Association, player selection will be on a tournament-by-tournament basis. Complicating factors include countries such as the US and Canada having mandatory vaccination policies for travellers. So even if a team was playing in the Caribbean, getting unvaccinated players there would be an extra logistical problem and
