    Goslings travel to face Janesville Craig in conference opener | Local Sports

    Watertown’s football team brings a 1-1 record into a Badger-Large conference matchup with Janesville Craig on Friday at Monterey Stadium. The Goslings bounced back from a 35-7 loss to Brookfield East in the opener with a 27-7 win over Reedsburg last Friday. Craig lost to Oconomowoc 47-7 in the opener, then lost to Madison Memorial 7-6 in Week 2.     Carson Wentz, Quenton Nelson both trending toward being available for Colts Week 1 opener, per report

    When both quarterback Carson Wentz and guard Quenton Nelson went down with foot injuries that required surgery, the initial timeframe stretched anywhere from 5 to 12 weeks, which naturally would bleed into the regular season if things were pushed to the later end. Fortunately for the Colts, things appear to be running in a more positive direction.     FSU season-ticket renewals trending favorably as ‘Noles eye ND opener

    It’s never too early to think about the 2021 college football season. And that excitement is starting to build at Florida State, which opens at home with a prime-time showdown against Notre Dame on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.  The Seminoles’ season-ticket renewal rate is trending favorably at 83% in the main seating bowl, according to FSU. Here are the current numbers: Renewed Season Tickets in the Main Seating Bowl: 20,661 New Season Tickets Sold in the Main Seating Bowl: 2,143 Total Sold in the Main Seating Bowl: 22.804 Renewal Percentage in the Main Seating Bowl: 83%
