The Legislature will convene Wednesday, with the 400-member House meeting at a hotel expo center in Manchester and the 24-member Senate spreading out in Representatives Hall at the Statehouse to allow for social distancing.     Cara Murez TUESDAY, Dec. 28, 2021 (HealthDay News) – While some plastic surgeons recommend no exercise for weeks after breast augmentation, new research suggests the ban may not be necessary. A new clinical trial found that women who resumed exercise after one week off did not have more complications and were more satisfied with results of their surgery. “These findings are in line with a broader tendency recently seen in other surgical fields in which early exercise was shown to be safe without increasing complication rates,” said study authors Dr. Filipe Basile and Dr. Thais Oliveira.     WHO chief: Blanket booster drives risk prolonging pandemic | Health & Fitness

    BERLIN (AP) — The head of the World Health Organization warned Wednesday that blanket booster programs in rich countries risk prolonging the world’s battle with COVID-19 and said that “no country can boost its way out of the pandemic.” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the priority must be to reduce deaths and help all countries meet minimum vaccination targets that many still haven’t reached. That total lack of approvals is creating new tensions within the military.
