    Several new mobile vaccination clinics by Three Rivers are coming up this Friday and Saturday. From 5-8 p.m. Friday, Three Rivers will be at Regency II Mobile Home Park at 807 S. Broad Street. They will be in Hooper and Herman on Saturday.     Alabama adds 4,000-plus COVID cases, 635 in 1 county

    The number of new coronavirus cases in Alabama topped 4,000 today. The figures from the Alabama Department of Public Health show the state has recorded 623,919 cases of COVID-19 since March 2020, adding 4,167 since yesterday. Another 35 deaths were added bringing the total to 7,890. One county – Mobile – saw the greatest increase with 635 new cases. Other counties with three-digit increases were: Baldwin (338), Etowah (109), Houston (132), Jefferson (470), Lee (112), Madison (209), Marshall (121), Montgomery (140), Shelby (169) and Tuscaloosa (100). Hospitalizations are now at 2,371, compared to 277 a month ago. Here are the

    Virginia COVID-19 July 13 update: 346 new cases, positivity rate trending upward

    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Department of Health is reporting 346 new cases along with 9 deaths related to COVID-19 Tuesday. The percent positivity rate in the commonwealth is up at 2.3%. As of Tuesday morning, July 13, Virginia has an overall number of 683,202 coronavirus cases since the start of the outbreak. Of the overall cases reported, 531,311 have been confirmed by testing. 151,891 are probable cases, in which a patient who shows symptoms is diagnosed without testing. According to the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association, there are currently are 237 people in Virginia hospitalized due to COVID-19.

    COVID-19 cases grow in hard-hit area of Missouri

    MISSION, Kan. — The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients jumped by nearly 27% over the Fourth of July weekend in a hard-hit area of Missouri where immunization rates are low, leading to a temporary ventilator shortfall and a public call for help from respiratory therapists.
