The Boys & Girls Club is offering travel basketball and fall soccer leagues.
The BGC Thunder, which was started earlier this year to give girls basketball players a chance to compete locally over the offseason, will have tryouts on Sept. 25 at the Shelbyville Boys & Girls Club.
For girls in grades 9-11, tryouts will be from 10 a.m. to approximately noon. For girls in grades 6-8, tryouts will begin at noon.
Thunder practices during the travel season, which begins immediately after the high school basketball season, will be held at the club.

Morristown BGC Soccer Leagues
Three different youth soccer leagues will be offered this fall at the Morristown Boys & Girls Club. They are development leagues with lots of fun and opportunities to improve. Below are the three leagues:
Pre-K and Kindergarten-U5
Games will begin in the middle of August and end in the middle of October. The cost to play is $25. Players must be active club members to participate. The registration deadline is Aug. 16.
Coaches are still needed for the leagues. Contact the Boys & Girls Club if interested in coaching a team.
