The Franklin Art Scene had a packed lineup during the monthly event Friday in downtown Franklin.
Shop owners hosted artists of various mediums to showcase their works as patrons shopped, sipped on refreshments and enjoyed live music.
While rain was in the forecast and the temperatures were on the chilly side, people didn’t seem to mind as they walked the streets in downtown Franklin enjoying the evening.

Mother’s Day was the theme for many, with floral arrangements being sold at Onyx and Alabaster and other businesses offering specials to honor moms.
Vanessa Marie Carter performed at Franklin Road Apparel, singing her new hit single, “Yours to Lose.” She was joined on stage by a little girl who enjoyed the spotlight and didn’t want to leave.
Other live music was held outside at Parks Realty, JJ’s Wine Bar and Mellow Mushroom.
The Franklin Art Scene is held on the first Friday of the month throughout the historic downtown. A trolley is also available to take attendees to each stop.
